New Video is Up

I'm finishing the artwork for this game.  I just have one more scene to go.  Then I got to do the facial expressions.  This is technically a redraw of an old drawing I did some time ago.

My anatomy drawing has changed.  I'm not sure if I'll ever touch color pencils again.

Second Image Progress and Practicing Shapes

So far, this is my progress on the second image for Trapped.  

I think I am getting somewhere with shading.  I'm also trying to figure out how to do texturing.  I'm sure such knowledge will come to me in time and the more that I practice.

Today I learned how to draw basic shapes.  Since I have been working in Photoshop for a while, I have not drawn doodles on paper for a long time now.   Thanks to the below video, I learned how to draw from the basic shapes.  Now I see shapes in things that I want to draw.  Scyra also has more helpful videos of those that like drawing.

More Progress Since the Last Post

More Progress for Trapped

  

From upper left to the right and to the bottom are the order of process.  Learning how to make artwork for a visual novel is a new experience for me.  It was brought to my attention that the Ren'py text boxes will be covering the bottom of my artwork.  Something that I new but did not think about all the way through.  Oh well...I'll see what I can do once this picture is fully colored.

Nindel Sprite is Done

Finally done with another sprite for Trapped. Unlike Bryan, Nindel isn't very emotional and has six emotion sprites (less than the other characters).

Three sprites more to go.
